Hatta Dam GRE Pipeline Rehabilitation

DELTA Coatings International completed the rehabilitation of GRE pipelines for the Hatta Dam hydroelectric power project in the UAE using DELTAShield HP 500 PW. Hatta Dam is a large-scale tourism and recreational reservoir feeding the GCC's first hydroelectric power station. The project has a storage capacity of 1,500 MW/h and an expected operational lifespan of 80 years. The project owners required a high-performance lining system capable of extending the lifespan of worn GRE pipelines exposed to internal abrasion and impact damage. Following extensive long-term abrasion and impact testing, DELTAShield HP 500 PW was selected for its superior performance characteristics. The turnkey retrofit project was delivered on a supply-and-apply basis by DELTA Coatings International. System features:
