BUSTAN PALACE HOTEL WATERPROOFING

One of the most iconic and oldest hotels in Muscat, Al Bustan Palace Hotel required roof renovation after 25 years of operation. DELTA Coatings was chosen for the prestigious job.

DELTAShield Hybrid 500 was specified as the fully bonded & seamless underlay system over the concrete roof. 100 mm EPS insulation boards were installed on top of DELTAShield Hybrid 500 and then recoated with DELTAShield Hybrid 500 to create a sandwich waterproofing system. The harsh humid summer climate would not affect the coating and has the added benefit of being walkable.

DELTAPrime 2K SF and DELTAPrime Filler were used for the initial surface preparation.
