DUBAI MUNICIPALITY ABATTOIR

The Dubai Municipality Abattoirs Section is in charge of managing and operating Dubai’s abattoirs according to internationally-approved health conditions and standards. The abattoirs use the latest tools and equipment. They also provide Sharia-compliant livestock slaughtering services. This includes veterinary examination of livestock before slaughter, in addition to slaughter and carcasses preparation.

Hygienic conditions are right on top of the list when it comes to HSE officials for the abattoir. The floors have to be constantly washed down with blood drops and various other liquids involved. A nonpermeable coating was required that could also withstand sharp and heavy objects being dropped on the coated floor.
