JOGGING TRACK, JUMERIAH BEACH RESIDENCE(JBR)

DELTA was asked to provide a system solution for a wear resistant, impermeable, soft cushioned lining track that could withstand ladies shoe heels, drinks (such as coffee, sodas) and general wastes of a public area. The lining was to be machine soap washed on a daily basis due to the high volume of visitors in the area (Approximately 12 million annually) The contract was awarded for entire area to be completed within 14 days.

After DELTA´s system specification was confirmed by the customer the application took place in following steps:

• Extensive protection for trees and public areas
• Remove of the existing coating
• Substrate preparation
• Priming with DELTAPrime 2K SF Primer
• Application of Polyurea DELTAShield AQUALINE AL Aliphatic Pure Polyurea

Despite very challenging conditions with very high humidity (85%) and temperatures (44°C) during the application the team performed well and the project was finished within the timetable. The customer was more than happy and the Joggers are extremely satisfied with the new cushioned surface.
