Summary
Roads & Transport Authority was looking for a coating that would not let any stickers adhere to the light poles. The municipal corporation was complaining of random public members applying stickers on street light poles which was looking unclean on the streets. Additionally, it was very labor intensive to clean and remove stickers regularly.
RTA started exploring various non-stick coatings for the product approval.
DELTAShield C 1100 polyaspartic system was proposed by Delta for the advantages of ease of application, very fast curing times. With elongation values of 100% and hardness of 75 Shore D proved to be the winning factors to win the job for protection against graffiti and stickers.
