Did you know the life cycle of polyurethane foam is estimated to fifty years? This means that your investment for thermal insulation will be maintained and cost effective for a long period of time. To maintain a successful life of polyurethane foam; a good waterproofing system should be applied on top of the foam for protection against sunlight, rain and moisture. Although polyurethane foam is one of the best thermal insulation materials, on its own, it is not waterproof nor is it UV stable.

DELTAShield HP 400 was the recommended product for the application @ 2mm thickness. It not only provides the water tight capabilities but also is walkable after application for servicing requirements and is a fully bonded system on the foam substrate.

An aliphatic top coat DELTAShield TC 100 was also applied as the client requested a beige color as the finishing.
