WAVE RUNNER RIDE, LEGOLAND, DUBAI PARKS & RESORTS

DELTAShield Aqualine AL was specified for concrete lining of the wave runner pool at Legoland, Dubai Parks & Resorts. A One Coat aliphatic elastomeric coating system @ 2 mm thickness was used instead of a cheaper aromatic elastomeric coating with an aliphatic top coat; avoiding any issues of a thin film top coat delamination underwater over long periods of time. DELTAShield Aqualine AL has been proven successful in various underwater lagoon projects with chemical resistance towards chlorine and other pool cleaning products.

DELTAPrime 2K SF and DELTAPrime Filler was used to carry out concrete repairs and filling of bug holes and cracks on the concrete surface. Successful pull off tests proved the system bonded to the substrate.
