Summary
The existing marine fenders, made out of hard rubber, were showing signs of wear and tear. The fenders were cracking under pressure due to the rigidity and high density of the product; with hardly any impact resistance/flexibility. Replacing the fenders would be a very costly affair so the port management decided to recoat the fenders with DELTAShield HP 400 at a thickness of 4mm.
DELTAShield HP 400 can withstand extreme climatic conditions, including salt corrosion.
