VILLA ROOF TILES INSULATION & WATERPROOFING

  A Challenging roof application required insulation, waterproofing and color stability over the existing red round clay tiles. DELTA Coatings was chosen for the prestigious job.

    The housing community would not allow the tile design to be removed and so the applicator had to overcoat the existing roof structure. Polyurethane foam was used for its direct adhesion to clay tiles and to provide insulation. PU foam often tends to crack over time with movements in the structure and weather conditions. The waterproofing membrane layer had to be hard and rigid but yet provide crack bridging over the foam. DELTAShield TC 100 was applied as an aliphatic top coat over DELTAShield HP 400 for color stability.
